My big brother has the nick name of "Bones". We drag raced together with his 7 Second Nostalgia Dragster called "Bad to the Bone"and over the years I found myself calling him "The Bone Man". Some how I got inspired to change the lyrics to the great soul R&B tune by Sam and Dave entitled "Soul Man" also made famous by the Blues Brothers. My Brother Jerry "Bones" Gaboury has had hot cars all his life and his first was a Hot Rod 1955 Chevy which is now back in the family and running' hot! This car has become some what famous as "Jerry" or "Bones" tore up the streets of St. Paul Minnesota in the late 1950's early 1960's with this car as well as winning many drag race trophies at Twin City Speedway. He sold it in 1962 and it was gone forever ......we thought.
The car miraculously made it back to our family in 2008 untouched. It is a real survivor of an era gone by and now making new memories. I hope you enjoy my song. IT'S ABOUT MY BROTHER AND HIS 1955 CHEVY,
